If you are looking for a really cool action figure to add to your already vast collection of Transformers characters then the next one you should be looking at is "Jazz". Since this toy first came out the manufacturers Hasbro have made some changes to the Transformers Jazz.

Today it comes in the shape of a Pontiac Solstice which gives its very cool, stylish and competent image. Although the original version of the toy was a Porsche 935 Turbo racing car the new image still provides it with the same qualities as the original.

This particular character in both the TV series and in the movie is one of the most well recognised of the Transformers Autobots. However because of issues relating to the trademark on this toy sometimes you may find it coming under the title of "Autobots Jazz". Whilst in Japan it may also be referred to as "Meister", which is in fact its Japanese name.

As for the toy which has been reproduced following the release of the Transformers Movie this year it is able to take on its arch rivals the Decepticons in much the same way as its predecessor. But although the toy looks great when in its vehicle form actually transforming it in to its robot one can be somewhat tricky. Yet when it is done it looks truly amazing.

Again as with Bumblebee, Transformers Jazz was one of the first of these robots to come to Earth with Optimus Prime from their home planet Cybertron. So for many of us who first watched the TV series he still remains an important and pivotal character in the Transformers world.

As for the new toy as previously mentioned he has become a Pontiac Solstice rather than being a Porsche 935 and comes with a large number of features that all new Transformer toys have been fitted with. Again the sounds of the vehicles they are pretending to be a realistic and the lights on the vehicle work as well.

This particular toy which resembles the character in the Transformers movie has a telescopic sword and spoiler which then becomes a shield in order to protect it when it converts back into a robot. Whilst the deluxe version of the Transformers Jazz toy comes with a Quagma cannon which allows it to fire missiles when in robot mode, which can also be attached to it when it is vehicle mode as well. So it really an awesome toy for anyone who loves this TV series to collect.
