Transformers Blackout
Previously the only place that you would have seen the Decepticon Transformer was if you were a fan of the comic stories. However all this changed with the introduction of the Transformers movie in 2007. Now because of this a whole new generation of children are learning about the capabilities of the Transformers Blackout and other members of the Decepticons.
In this article we will be taking a look at some of the features that come with the Transformer 2007 Blackout toy. Another one of the flight Decepticons this one can transform from robot mode in to a helicopter and has the capability of allowing a Scorponok mini figure to sit inside the cockpit when in helicopter mode.
Today you have the choice of 2 versions of this particular Transformer character. There is the mini and deluxe size models to choose from. With the mini version which is only 3 inches high when in robot mode is very easy to transform and also comes with 2 blades which spin freely. However this toy is not really idea for small children because it is very fiddly when trying to convert from vehicle to robot mode and then back again.
As for the deluxe version of this toy this has been simplified so even young children will find it very easy to transform from one mode to another. As with the mini size toy this one comes with a set of spinning blades which have a mounting system that can be removed and allow them to be used as a weapon when in robot mode. Also it comes with a very small Scorponok figure (which does not transform) and which can then be placed in the basket when Blackout has transformed back into the helicopter.
Also with the deluxe version of the Transformers Blackout this can be combined with the deluxe version of Scorponok. Once combined the rotors on Blackout which rotate will cause the claws on Scorponok to spin (although don't expect to work as well as you would like).
One of the biggest differences between the Blackout Transformers toy compared to the one seen in the movie is that it does not have the arm mounted weapons. Instead the Transformers Blackout toy has very detailed missiles which are attached to the shoulders and will show when it has been transformed into robot mode. Plus compared to the other toys now available this is the smallest even though in the movie it is much larger than most of the other characters. But is still a great Transformer toy to own and enjoy.
